Complete model of Paxton, now available to view in gallery!
We are pleased to announce that the completed model of Paxton from the Sodor OO Works, is now available to view in the Gallery. Click the link above to head over to the Sodor OO Works gallery to see this recently finished model.
The model was made using a Bachmann Thomas 'Diesel' with a trackmaster Paxton face donated for the model, for the paintwork, Humbrol 88 is a close enough match for the body, Humbrol 154 Yellow was used for the hand-painted lining.
And for the finishing touch of weathering, Tamiya Weathering Master was used to give him a grubby look. Overall, the model is much better than the original, smoother running and highly detailed.

Paxton MK II - Lining Finished!
The lining around the whole of Paxton's body has been completed, and only now requires a slit touch up here and there to neaten it, other then that, it is going nicely.
Paxton MK II - Progressing Well!
The recent project has been coming along better than i had hoped, the paintwork has turned out nicely, which means i can now move onto the next part of the body, which will be the lining that runs around his whole bodyshell.
Don't worry to much about the little patches of primer still showing, these will be dealt with. :)

Paxton MK II - Work in Progress!
A good morning to all this 1st of May.
We've been very busy updating pages and links the last few weeks, but now have some new work in progress images of Paxton the Diesel, courtesy of the Sodor OO Works.
The model is being made using Bachmann's Devious Diesel as opposed to the UK Bachmann's 'Gronk' shunter, the Thomas 'Diesel' is more accurate for Paxton, and seems to be a far smoother runner, with better detail to the body and chassis.
We will post more photos of the work in progress model as they come, but this is what you can expect once he is fully detailed and weathered down! :)

It's terrible that this has happened during a marathon, please give your prayers and thoughts for those who have been caught in this horrific attack, which has already claimed several lives, including an 8 year old boy who was waiting for his father to cross the finish line..

Stephen Sheredy Productions joins Community Media!

We are delighted to add Stephen's work to the community members media page, the quality of his work is really eye-catching, and very realistic. He has done some amazing home videos of 'Something in the Air' and 'Cranky Bugs', with 'Horrid Lorry' to follow very soon!
It's quite stunning how much work Stephen has put into his models, something i couldn't do on such a large scale, but i adore his modelling because of the time he has taken with making them and giving them their classic faces, old and new. :)
We hope that you will enjoy seeing his work showcased here, as he deserves much credit for what he has done and produced.
Homemade 'Thomas & Friends' Sequences join Community Media Page!
Stephen Sheredy has posted up some wonderful videos of his Homemade 'Thomas & Friends' Episode Sequences using his OO/HO scale layout and models to re-create some well-known episodes from the classic series of Thomas the Tank Engine.
These videos have been made so well that we have now added them to the community media page alongside other well-knwon YouTube friends of ours. Please had over to the Community Media Page to see more of Stephen's work!
