Splatter & Dodge - Conversion begins!

Yesterday saw the beginning of the Splatter and Dodge OO conversions, The chosen donor models, are a pair of Bachmann 'Thomas' Diesels, with the correct chassis and body shapes. Presently, the faces and eyes have been removed, and the chassis carefully removed from the body shell, there are four screws holding the model into place, two under the bonnet and two under the cab.

I have set the chassis to one side, whilst the bodies are being prepared for a primer undercoat.

I commented on the other post, just thought I'd see where Splodge began. Out of curiosity, what will you be doing with the ladders (that are no longer necessary on Splodge) ?

The World of Thomas The Tank Engine Modelling is an online model railway community that specializes in modelling Thomas the Tank Engine characters from the hit television and railway series in scales OO/HO, N, O, G and 009. The community was established in early January 2012, after a brief long discussion with fellow modellers from sites the likes of YouTube, Bachmann and Facebook e.t.c.

The idea was to create a small but manageable community, where modellers alike could come and share their interest in modelling Thomas & Friends. Through the building and development of the community forum, came the community blog, which was then created, followed shortly by our very own YouTube channel and Facebook Community Page and Group!

Although we are a small community, we pride ourselves to model with joy, and model to the best standards we can achieve, we welcome criticism, so that we can work on making the models better and much more accurate.

We have a friendly few staff members, who are always willing to lend a hand and give advice where needed, and we do advise that new members looking to join the community, please use 100% accurate information when filling out the registration form. False and misleading information is not tolerated, neither is bullying, harassment or any other kinds of racial behavior, no matter what the age or gender of individuals.

The World of Thomas The Tank Engine Modelling accepts no responsibility for the loss of account information, passwords and all other data. We have strict rules about accounts, and we will remove any and all accounts that are used by persons who have not registered in the correct manor, this means users giving out account information to persons unregistered to the boards, to gain access to threads and content posted by our users!
