The World of Thomas The Tank Engine Modelling, is an online community that specializes in modelling Thomas characters in scales OO/HO, N, O, G and 009.
The Community was established in early January 2012 after brief discussions about creating a small manageable online forum, where all Thomas modellers alike could come and share their interest in modelling Thomas & Friends.
Through the community forum, it was then decided to create a blog to keep members and visitors informed of new updates to the community, and also, to let visitors know when new models were released by the manufacturers (Hornby & Bachmann e.t.c.)
Though many model railway forums discuss the news and press releases of new products being released into the new ranges, we strive ourselves to mainly announce the news of all new Thomas products once it has been officially stated by the main parties providing the necessary information, before we deem it appropriate to add and blog this info to all who visit our community and blog.
We don't under any circumstances blog any info that may be seen as 'plagiarism' from any other website to do with Thomas the Tank Engine, we are not a 'fansite' of any sorts, and are not affiliated with any 'Thomas Fan Forum' or 'Fansite' that may hold similar information regarding the release of new and future Thomas products from said manufacturers and stockists.
We have recently now been most fortunate to form a great friendship with a new store called 'The Diesel Works', who specialize in selling Bachmann Thomas HO models in the United Kingdom, their friendly service is more than satisfactory, and the prices cannot be beaten!
